Good luck! I’ve had many issues of that book over the years. I always found it a valuable resource, especially the articles on submission and what editors are looking for in whatever I was focusing on at the time.

Make sure to enter their annual writing contest (deadline is in May). Multiple genres, can have multiple entries.
I’ve been a member for three years now and it’s an excellent resource.

Congratulations on starting this journey! Here’s advice someone gave me a long time ago, as I started writing queries to publishers: Each No is one step closer to a Yes. Hang in there and stay true to your voice.
